The pilgrimage to Canterbury has been a huge success for the 47 people from Park Place – Sisters, Fr Andrew, Friends and Parishioners who visited Canterbury and Rochester this week. More information and photos to follow.

The arrival of the Montessori School at Park Place this September reminds me that there are many ladies around who have very fond memories of the previous School at Park Place, which was run by the Sisters until (we think) 1972. The recent Garden Party brought lots of ‘old girls’ with fascinating photos and memorabilia of their time at Park Place and the teaching by the Sisters.  Were you a convent school girl at Park Place?  Do you have photos you would like to share with friends and the rest of us?  Please get in touch so we can upload your photos and read your reminiscences.

In case you missed the terrific Folk Picnic on the 5th June, this picture should give you some idea of the fun we had.

This isn’t news, strictly speaking. It’s more an excuse to show you a photo of the extraordinary flower arrangements created by Sr Karuna for the chapel at Park Place. The formality of the arrangement, in which every petal was placed inside another of contrasting colour, was designed with such delicacy and gave the chapel a beautiful exotic beauty. Sometimes we are spoiled at Park Place!
